Commissioners

The Howard Soil & Water Conservation District is made up of five locally elected residents of Howard County who serve as volunteers providing local program guidance to solve natural resource c0ncerns within the district. The commissioners meet on the second Tuesday of every month which is open to the public.

Field Office Staff

The Howard County and Mitchell County NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) offices are a Shared Management Unit.  The Howard SWCD is co-located within the NRCS office.  At times, the office will be short-staffed and possibly closed due to field work activities.
