Welcome to the Howard Soil and Water Conservation District website. We would like to introduce you to the District Commissioners and our District, State, and Federal staff that provide technical assistance to Howard County landowners. A brief explanation of programs, links to our conservation partners, and news of local activities can also be found here. For specific questions, please contact us by visiting our office, call or email.

ATTENTION

Due to rising costs, we regret that can no longer print or mail conservation calendars.  Our annual report was mailed as a special section of the Cresco Times Plain Dealer and The Extra newspapers around the middle of February 2010, and this will be an annual practice from now on.  If you don't get the Cresco Times Plain Dealer or The Extra, copies are available at our office, or all the information can be found here on our website.

Thank you for visiting the Howard SWCD online!
